Dear Friends, Customers, Partners,

We feel really happy to come back to you with our gazette “Shall I tell you?”

First of all, many thanks to you for the wonderful conversations, yours smiles and the warming advices during your stay with us. Whether it was an evening stopover for a deserved rest before another cycling day, or a multiple night stay to visit Saumur and /or idle about in the garden, we only have bright memories of you all!

The high season being over, we now take the opportunity in this winter time to concoct the next spring and summer season. We are not short of ideas to welcome you in the best conditions: layout, home decoration, new recipes for our daily home-made cake, themed parties, additional services….

Christmas and the New Year are on their way…..We can provide a booking voucher or a gift voucher for a weekend at “ Aux Marquises” either to your loved ones or to yourself. We can build up a special stay including dinner, a flower bouquet, champagne, breakfast, an outing…

2022 Highlights

On September 17th and 18th 2022, we decided to open our house to the public for the “Heritage Days” with the help of the Saumur Town Council Services. We could never have expected so many people (over 450!) to come, see and learn about what our distant predecessors have left us. We had a wonderful weekend!

« Aux Marquises » Forthcoming events 2023

As the previous one happened to be very successful, we are preparing a special programme for the next Marathon on May 14th 2023.
On a 2 night-stay basis (room of your choice), you will have a special “sportsman/woman dinner” (15€ P.P.) and a protein-rich breakfast the next morning, dedicated to the marathon runners!
We expect friendly, lively conversations of course in order to support our sportsmen!

In 2023, Anjou Vélo Vintage will be back on June 24th and 25th.

Over 10,000 people took part in the previous edition!
A magnificent event, for cycling lovers as well as for bystanders, people wandering along the banks of the river Loire in a fun and relaxing way. “Aux Marquises” welcomes cyclists and their bikes…..so why not go for polka dot dresses, caps and suspenders !
